The customer worked with other compounders and, although the formulas were changed, there was never any price savings for the customer. The customer, on advice from a material supplier, contacted KMC Rubber to develop a cost-effective formulation. KMC Rubber’s technical team worked with the customer to understand their specific rubber process requirements. KMC Rubber produced a compliant formula and met their cost target, allowing them to successfully retain, and further grow, their business.
