KMC Rubber recognizes its responsibility for protecting and preserving the environment.Governments have been actively seeking ways to address sustainability and citizens have been increasingly willing to do their part. Preservation of the environment is an important part of everyday life and KMC Rubber understands the need for going “green” since millions of tires were filling landfills annually and polluting the environment.

Since 2002, KMC Rubberhas collaborated with the state of California to develop new products created from recycled tires and as part of KMC Rubber’s continual search for alternative raw materials, we have successfully invested over 20 years’ work targeting the development of raw materials derived from cured rubber crumb particulate for use within rubber compound formulations.

Careful testing and experimental formulations were designed to evaluate longevity, durability and safety. Fitness flooring, interlocking mats, highway safety devices, gaskets and roofing tiles made from recycled tire rubber.

Additionally, KMC Rubber is a certified California crumb rubber processor.
